Today, Dad turned 70!!
70 years is the age when someone reaches it and just wants to be surrounded by his children and grandchildren, enjoying their company.
Dad has spent 60 years away from us and now 70 years, still away from us, knowing nothing about us, and we know nothing about him except that he desperately needs us around him.
My daughter, who is 5 years old, has never seen him even once in her life, and every now and then she tells me that she wishes Grandpa Mohamed were here with her, and I don’t know how to respond to her..
70 years, Dad, and the criminals are not letting us be satisfied with you and your embrace.
We can't be by your side in your suffering and serve you with our eyes.
My heart breaks every day when I imagine that he is suffering, fainting, and getting hurt, and there is no one around him, no one to take care of him.
So, I wonder, is his current condition even allowing him to take care of himself? Can he even take his medications and look after himself…
So many questions without any answers because we are living in oppression..
But Dad taught us to always have faith in God, and I have faith in God that the oppression will come to an end one day..
