Security forces in the city of Zagazig arrested the child Hamdi Kamel Hamdi Mohamed Ibrahim, who is 15 years old, from his home in the village of Tahira Hamid on September 17, 2025, just days before the start of his first year in secondary school.

Since that date, he has been taken to an unknown location and has not been presented to any investigative authority so far, in a blatant violation of children's rights and laws protecting minors.
