Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights monitors the continued disappearance of citizen Amir Mohsen Hamad Afreij, a resident of Al-Arish in North Sinai Governorate, since 2014, with no information available to date about his whereabouts or fate.

According to information received by the Center, news of Amir has been cut off since 2014, and his absence has continued for nearly 12 years, amid a state of concern and humanitarian suffering experienced by his family due to not knowing his fate or whether he is still alive.

Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights expresses its deep concern regarding Amir Mohsen Hamad Afreij’s continued disappearance over these years, stressing the need to uncover the circumstances of his disappearance and end the ordeal of his family, who have waited for a long time to know his fate.

The Center calls on the Public Prosecution and the relevant authorities to conduct serious investigations into the incident of his disappearance, to immediately reveal his whereabouts and fate, and to take the necessary measures to ensure his safety and enable his family to learn the truth.
