•• The Cairo Criminal Court, Badr Office, Second Circuit, today Tuesday, 13 October 2026, considered a number of cases referred to it by the Office of the Supreme State Security Prosecution, involving dozens of detainees held pending those cases.

The court decided to adjourn the following cases to specific dates, due to the inability of some detainees to attend, as follows:

1- Case No. 96 of 2022, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 901 of 2025, misdemeanours of Maadi, and No. 17 of 2025, South Cairo Criminal Court, was adjourned to the session of 16 December 2026.

2- Case No. 335 of 2020, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 5490 of 2024, misdemeanours of Qasr al-Nil, and No. 540 of 2024, Central Cairo Criminal Court, was adjourned to the session of 28 December 2026.

3- Case No. 577 of 2020, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 283 of 2025, misdemeanours of Hada’iq al-Qubba, was adjourned to the session of 9 November 2026.

4- Case No. 1237 of 2023, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 8610 of 2026, misdemeanours of al-Muqattam, was adjourned to the session of 21 November 2026.

5- Case No. 2153 of 2023, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 18600 of 2024, misdemeanours of First Nasr City, and No. 3006 of 2024, New Cairo Criminal Court, was adjourned to the session of 29 December 2026.

6- Case No. 2801 of 2024, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), was adjourned to the session of 27 December 2026.

7- Case No. 6883 of 2025, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), was adjourned to the session of 8 November 2026.

8- Case No. 1313 of 2025, State Security Case File (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 3539 of 2025, misdemeanours of al-Saf, the court ruled to impose a severe imprisonment sentence of 15 years in absentia on eight defendants.
