Death of the citizen/ Haytham Abdel-Rahman Mohamed Esawy - 25 years old. Haytham spent six years in prison, by spinning him within a circle of invented cases, during which he was subjected to enforced disappearance. He was transferred among a number of police stations and Borg-Elarab prison, until he died in Ellabban police station, while he was sentenced to four years in jail.
El-Shehab for Human Rights holds the Ministry of Interior responsible for the death, and calls for an investigation into its circumstances, as well as the release of all detainees.
