Death of the citizen “Mohamed Gomaa” in Abu-Zaabal prison, the day before yesterday

Death of the citizen / Mohamed Gomaa, Kafr Shukr city, Qalyoubia Governorate, on March 23, 2023, in Abu Zaabal Prison, due to overcrowding and poor conditions of detention. He was detained on the case no. 2094 of 2023 Supreme State Security category.

El-Shehab for Human Rights holds the Ministry of Interior responsible for the death, and demands an investigation into its circumstances, as well as the release of all detainees.
