Death of the citizen/ Mahmoud Abdel-Shafy Aldaydamony - 42 years old - Blacksmith - Zagazig Suburbs, Sharkia Governorate, on February 11, 2023, after he was transferred from Zagazig Police Station to Zagazig General Hospital.
Mahmoud was imprisoned pending to report number 2133 of 2021. He was suffering from cancer, and he died as a result of medical negligence in his prison and the difficult conditions of imprisonment.
El-Shehab for Human Rights holds the Ministry of Interior responsible for the death, and demands an investigation into its circumstances, as well as the release of all detainees.
