The Human Rights Scenery Report 2022:
An annual human rights report issued by El-Shehab for Human Rights (SHR) as part of its endeavor to monitor and document the violations committed by the Egyptian government against its opponents.
The report:
- Monitors violations in two areas: enforced disappearance and imprisonment, including detention facilities.
- It sheds light on cases of murder by medical negligence in prisons.
- It also monitors the painful reality of Badr new prison publicized as human adequate prison.
Read in the report:
* The number of forcibly disappeared persons in Egypt over the past nine years has reached (16,355) cases, which included all ages in Egyptian society.
* The number of forcibly disappeared persons for the year 2022 is (3153) cases.
* During the past nine years, about (865) were murdered by deliberate medical negligence inside the various Egyptian detention facilities, (40) of them died during the year 2022.
* El-Shehab for Human Rights received about 103 complaints and cries for help regarding violations in prisons and detention centers.
